Metal I.D. Tags for Slings
Chain sling identification tags for alloy chain slings must be durable and permanently affixed. Stamped metal tags must state size, grade, rated capacity and reach clearly on the lifting sling identification tag. Identification tags for slings must include the information on the tag as per OSHA Standard 1910.184(e)(i) Sling identification.
Instructions for Assembling Sling Metal I.D. Tags: Punch the information onto the tag as per OSHA Standard 1910.184(e)(i) Sling identification. Alloy steel chain slings must have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity and reach clearly.
